McJunk is a visual investigation into the relationship between graphic design and disposable culture through a photographic study of McDonald's litter.
McJunk started in 2002 as a personal project by Nigel Ball, a graphic design lecturer and practitioner working out of Ipswich. Since then it has been exhibited on a gallery floor, formed part of a collaborative postcard project and published as a hardback book with accompanying essay. McJunk recorded by Nigel Ball forms a ever increasing Flickr set.
